A New York Real Estate Drama Series in the Works at Hulu

Hulu is developing a drama series set in the world of high-end New York real estate. The streamer has put in development 'The Pinnacle,' written and executive produced by Damon Cardasis and Jamieson Baker, with executive producers George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth.

Last year, Hulu ordered an untitled real estate drama pilot from Roberto Patino and Cassius Corrigan, but it didn't move forward.

In contrast, 'The Pinnacle' follows Charlie Mahoney, a ambitious and street-smart individual who becomes the sobriety companion to the troubled son of a billionaire family living on New York's Billionaires' Row.

As Charlie gains the family's trust and acclimates to their luxurious lifestyle, he must navigate scheming staff, suspicious friends, and romantic entanglements while hiding a secret of his own and securing his place in New York's ultra-wealthy circles.

Stephanopoulos and Wentworth executive produce via their company, Bedby8, alongside Tracy Underwood's Hustle & Punch.

Baker directed and co-wrote a narrative short called 'Almost A Year' and previously worked as a talent and literary manager at Untitled Entertainment.

Cardasis executive produced the Martin Scorsese documentary 'Mr. Scorsese' and co-wrote the musical adaptation of 'Saturday Church,' based on his critically acclaimed feature.

The series is developed by Hulu, Bedby8, and Hustle & Punch.
