Acclaim has made a shocking announcement that will excite gamers worldwide. After a 20-year hiatus, they're back in the game industry.

If you're a gamer from the 90s or early 2000s, you'll definitely remember the Acclaim logo – a sharp-edged uppercase 'C'. This iconic logo was always present when starting a game.

Acclaim, with its complete name Acclaim Entertainment, is a renowned game publisher. They've published several popular game franchises, including Mortal Kombat, NBA Jam, Turok, Burnout, Re-Volt, Crazy Taxi, and Dead or Alive.

Acclaim went bankrupt in 2004, but now they're back with a new leader, Alex Jozef. The company will be shifting its focus to indie game development and will collaborate more with indie studios.
