Actor Oh Hye Soo Returns with Surprise Wedding and Childbirth Announcement, Promises Return to Acting

After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus from social media, actress Oh Hye Soo shocked her fans with a life update that none of them saw coming.

On June 21, 2026 (KST), Oh Hye Soo posted on her personal Instagram account for the first time in approximately two years and three months. In the post, the actress revealed that she had gotten married and given birth during her time away from the public eye.

Oh Hye Soo shared that her daily life began to take on a completely different color after those changes, adding that the process helped her learn, grow, and reflect on herself not just as an actress, but as a person.

'As I spent that time, I naturally left both my activities and this space empty for a long time. I am sorry that I could not share this news with you sooner. Even so, I sincerely thank everyone who did not forget me for such a long time, asked how I was doing, and waited for me to return. I always remember the support and warm hearts you sent me, even from places I could not see.'

'At the same time, I would like to slowly share various stories I experience and feel while living not only as actress Oh Hye Soo, but as one person. I would be grateful if you continued to stay with me. Thank you once again for waiting for me. I will come see you more often from now on.'

Oh Hye Soo, born in 1995, graduated from the School of Drama at Korea National University of Arts. She made her debut in the 2017 web drama 'Seventeen' and later gained attention for her roles in Netflix's 'All of Us Are Dead' and ENA's hit K-Drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo'. Fans are now sending Oh Hye Soo warm congratulations as she prepares to return to both social media and acting after a long break!
