Adam Alis Gives Cristiano Ronaldo a Run for His Money

Exciting news has reached the Persib Bandung camp. Their star midfielder, Adam Alis, has been nominated for the prestigious 'Magic Moment of the Season AFC Champions League' award, alongside an array of Asian football superstars, including the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo.

This achievement is made even more impressive by the fact that Adam Alis is competing against a living legend in Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al Nassr. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has opened up voting to fans, allowing them to choose the most iconic moment of the season.

According to the AFC, the nominees showcase magical moments from the season, including dramatic goals, incredible comebacks, and individual feats that have captured the hearts of Asian football fans. Adam Alis' heroic performance began on November 6, 2025, when Persib Bandung hosted Selangor FC.

On that night, Persib found themselves in a tough spot, trailing 2-0 at halftime. However, the second half saw an incredible turnaround, with Andrew Jung scoring in the 48th minute, followed by Adam Alis equalizing in the 81st minute. The match's climax came in injury time, with Adam Alis scoring the winning goal in the 97th minute, securing a dramatic 3-2 victory for Persib.

This moment caught the attention of the AFC, who included it in their list of 'Magic Moments of the Season'. Adam Alis' bravery and determination in the final minutes of the match are seen as a representation of the unyielding spirit of football.

The AFC described the match as 'Matchday 4 madness', with Persib coming back from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2, thanks to goals from Andrew Jung and two from Adam Alis. The second goal from Adam Alis came in the seventh minute of injury time, securing the win and putting Persib at the top of Group G.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo's presence in the nominees adds to the prestige of the competition. The 41-year-old Al Nassr captain is still showing his skills as a deadly goal-scorer. The AFC highlights the moment when Ronaldo scored his 969th career goal, a feat that solidifies his status as one of the greatest players of all time.

Ronaldo's goal came in the 11th minute of the match, setting Al Nassr on the path to a convincing 4-0 win over Al Wasl, securing their spot in the semifinals. Now, the decision is in the hands of the fans, who can vote to choose the most deserving 'Favourite Magic Moment of the Season'.

Will Adam Alis' miracle from Bandung take the top spot, or will Cristiano Ronaldo's legendary status prevail?
