Alpine Scores Double Points in F1 China GP 2026 - Bincang Bincang Mobil

Jakarta, - Team BWT Alpine Formula One Team achieved a positive result in the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix 2026 at the Shanghai International Circuit.

Both Alpine drivers, Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, successfully finished in the points zone and brought home a double points finish that was crucial for the French team.

Pierre Gasly, who started from seventh position on the grid, drove a very clean race with an effective one-pit-stop strategy. He took advantage of the Safety Car period at the start of the race to make an early pit stop and switch to hard tyres, a strategy that allowed him to maintain his position in the top group. With a stable pace, Gasly eventually finished sixth, giving Alpine six valuable points.

In the meantime, Franco Colapinto made a significant moment in his career by scoring his first points with the Alpine team. The Argentine driver started the race from 12th position and had a reasonably interesting race.

Colapinto even briefly held second place at one point, while other teams played out different pit stop strategies. After his pit stop halfway through the race, he had a slight collision with Esteban Ocon when exiting the pit lane, which damaged his floor and reduced his speed. Despite this, he still managed to hold onto 10th position to the finish line.

With sixth and 10th place finishes, Alpine collected a total of 7 points from the Shanghai race. This result is a positive signal that Alpine has the potential to be a regular point-scorer throughout the 2026 season.
