Banda Aceh – The infrastructure development program through the installation of Aramco bridges in the Kodam Iskandar Muda (IM) region has shown significant progress. As of Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 05:30 WIB, the implementation of the activities scattered across various districts in Aceh had achieved several important milestones as part of the efforts to improve connectivity and accelerate regional development.
According to the latest data, out of a total of 105 planned locations, 40 locations have completed the Detail Perencanaan Teknis (DPT) stage, while 1 location is still in the DPT process. For the physical installation of Armco, 3 locations have been completed, and there are currently no locations in the process of installation. In addition, 38 locations are in the mobilization stage, and 23 other locations are included in the planned implementation in accordance with the command above.
The installation of Aramco bridges is divided into several stages, covering an area that includes Aceh Timur, Bener Meriah, Aceh Tamiang, Bireuen, and Aceh Utara districts. In Stage I, several locations in the Kodim 0104/Aceh Timur, Kodim 0119/Bener Meriah, and Kodim 0117/Aceh Tamiang areas have successfully completed the 100% DPT stage. These locations are generally the connecting paths between villages, hamlets, and access to major roads, including the strategic Medan-Banda Aceh route.
Meanwhile, in Stage II, the development covers a larger area, including Aceh Timur, Bireuen, and Aceh Utara districts. All locations in this stage have also completed the 100% DPT stage, indicating a mature technical readiness to move directly into physical construction. The infrastructure built at these points plays a vital role as a connecting path between villages, even between sub-districts, to facilitate community mobility and logistics distribution.
As we enter Stage III, the progress of work begins to show development in physical construction. In Aceh Utara district, some points such as Cot Girek and Blang Aman villages have entered the Armco installation process with respective progress reaching 80% and 40%. In addition, in Bener Meriah district, there is one point still in the DPT process with an achievement of around 45%.
In general, the majority of Armco bridge construction locations are in disaster-affected areas (TB), making the presence of this bridge a strategic solution in supporting transportation access recovery for the community. The infrastructure is expected to accelerate economic activities, facilitate the distribution of agricultural and plantation products, and improve the well-being of the community in remote areas.
Kodam Iskandar Muda through its units continues to commit to overseeing and accelerating the optimal completion of the Aramco bridge construction. The synergy between TNI, regional governments, and local communities is the main key in ensuring that every stage of work runs smoothly, on schedule, and in accordance with the standards set.
With the consistently increasing progress, it is hoped that all construction points will soon be realized in their entirety, so that the benefits can be directly felt by the public, especially in improving accessibility and connectivity between regions in Aceh province.
