Ariana Grande recently shared her latest world tour, Eternal Sunshine, which will take place on a smaller scale than her previous tours. She mentioned this in an interview with Nicole Kidman for Interview Magazine, published on November 24.
Grande, 32, stated that the tour, scheduled to take place in 2026, will only have around 45 performances. \"We're only doing a smaller number than what I used to do. I think it's about 45 shows,\" she said. \"That's not too small, but at least it's half of what I used to do.\"
Although the number of concerts has decreased, Grande assured that she is very excited about this tour. \"I feel very grateful and enthusiastic about the way it feels so different to me. For a few years now, I've been healing my connection with music and touring,\" she said.
The singer of Thank U, Next also shared that she has spent a lot of time improving her way of making music. \"With Eternal Sunshine, it feels like a completely different experience for me,\" she said. She added that a long break from the music world helped her \"take back certain parts\" that were previously influenced by fame pressure.
Grande mentioned that her experience playing Glinda in Wicked and Wicked: For Good helped her rebuild her comfort as a pop star. \"I took small steps to heal my connection with music and touring. My time with Glinda really helped me build up the strength to do that... Previously, it stored trauma in me, and I felt everything was fading,\" she said.
She also touched on how her fame early in her career was a challenging adjustment period. \"There was a hard adaptation period when my pop career took off,\" she said. \"I'm very grateful to be able to do what I love, but I didn't expect some of it.\"
Grande admitted to often taking public and media comments to heart in the past. However, she now chooses a different approach. \"Now, if something bothers me, I just meditate and move on,\" she said.
The Eternal Sunshine tour is set to start in Oakland, California, in June 2026 and end in London in late August 2026.
