ATP Rankings Shift After Roland Garros: Cobolli and Arnaldi Enjoy a Significant Boost, Djokovic Falls

The ATP rankings have changed slightly after Roland Garros, with Alexander Zverev securing his first Grand Slam title at 28 years old, but staying at the number three spot with 7,305 points. Jannik Sinner still holds the top spot with 13,500 points and Alcaraz is in second place with 9,960 points, but both have lost a significant number of points.

Novak Djokovic, who was eliminated in the third round, dropped to seventh place, while Felix Auger-Aliassime achieved his career-high rank of fourth in the world, and Alex de Miñaur jumped one spot to sixth place. Flavio Cobolli, the unlikely Roland Garros finalist, jumped four spots to the number 10 in the world with 3,540 points, surpassing Alexander Bublik.

Other players who performed well at the French Open saw an improvement in their rankings: Jakub Mensik leaped ten spots to the number 17 in the world, Rafa Jódar jumped six spots to 23rd in the world, and Joao Fonseca leaped five spots to 25th in the world. But the most surprising jump was Matteo Arnaldi, who was forced to withdraw from the semifinals due to illness, jumping 70 spots to the number 34 in the world with 1,336 points.

Unfortunately, Jack Draper and Holger Rune, due to their extended absence from the tournament, dropped to 112th in the world for the English player and 64th in the world for the Danish player.
