The Ojai Raptor Center, a reputable wildlife rescue group, has been providing updates on Jackie's condition through their social media channels. According to their Instagram post, the eagle believed to be Jackie is suffering from severe anemia and inflammation of the kidneys, which are serious health issues that require immediate attention. Veterinarians at the center are working tirelessly to determine the cause of these health problems, with bloodwork and several diagnostic tests currently underway. While the center awaits the results of these tests, they have emphasized that Jackie's condition remains critical, and it is still too early to predict the outcome. The team of veterinarians and wildlife experts are doing everything in their power to ensure Jackie receives the best possible care, but the situation is being closely monitored, and the outlook is uncertain.

The events leading up to Jackie's current condition are still somewhat unclear, but it is known that she was involved in an altercation with two young eagles last Friday. However, based on the circumstances and the physical characteristics of the eagle, the Ojai Raptor Center believes that the eagle in their care is indeed Jackie. The lack of physical injuries is a positive sign, but the internal health issues are a major concern, and the team is working to address these problems as quickly and effectively as possible.
