Beloved K-Pop Girl Group Member Opens Up About Difficult Period in Career

SECRET member Jun Hyosung recently opened up about a difficult period in her career. In a new interview, she shared that she worked for three years without getting paid, which took a toll on her passion and motivation.

During the interview, Jun Hyosung's fellow artist Kim Sook, with whom she worked on the variety show 'Video Star', revealed that they used to eat together in the waiting room every week. However, Kim Sook noticed that Jun Hyosung seemed unmotivated during that time, which she later realized was due to the fact that she wasn't earning any money.

Jun Hyosung replied that she had tried to express her struggles during that time, but it was also a period that forced her to grow. She said, 'It was right around the time I was going from my 20s into my 30s. I didn't know how to find happiness outside of work. I learned a lot about life during that time. I became more mature.'

Jun Hyosung is now back on the K-Pop scene with fellow SECRET members Jung Hana and new member Yebin. The group will release its special mini-album 'Secret Flavor' on June 18.
