Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang: Bumi Muda Sedia Pulih dan Bangkit — Informasi Terbaru

Redelong - The unwavering spirit and dedication of TNI personnel in assisting the local community have been once again demonstrated through the construction of the Aramco Bridge in Desa Pilar Jaya, Kecamatan Bukit, Kabupaten Bener Meriah, on Friday (May 15, 2026).
Despite faced with extremely challenging terrain and difficult access roads, personnel from Koramil 06/Bukit, under the command of Kodim 0119/BM, continued their efforts in building the bridge to expedite access for the local community. Various construction materials such as cement, sand, stones, and iron had to be transported using motorbikes due to the narrow, muddy, and steep road conditions.
On-site personnel were observed working diligently, carrying materials in stages to the construction site. The slippery and muddy road posed a significant challenge, especially during heavy rain when the road became even more hazardous and prone to accidents.
Koramil 06/Bukit Commander, Captain Aep Mukhran Halid, stated that the distribution of materials was one of the main challenges in constructing the Aramco Bridge in Pilar Jaya. He explained that the difficult terrain made it impossible for four-wheeled vehicles to reach the construction site.
“All construction materials had to be transported using motorbikes because four-wheeled vehicles couldn't access the site. Personnel from Koramil 06/Bukit had to work extra hard to carry cement, stones, sand, and iron across the hazardous road,” he said.
He explained that when the weather was clear, material transportation could still be done, albeit with high caution. However, when it rained, the road became extremely slippery, making it difficult for two-wheeled vehicles to navigate and risked accidents.
“When it rains, the road becomes extremely slippery, and personnel have to be even more cautious. Even sometimes, material transportation had to be halted temporarily for the sake of personnel's safety,” he added.
Despite facing numerous challenges in the field, the TNI personnel's spirit remained unbroken. The construction of the Aramco Bridge continued apace, as it played a crucial role as the main access route for residents of Desa Pilar Jaya in conducting their daily activities, particularly in transporting agricultural and plantation products.
According to Captain Aep Mukhran Halid, the bridge's completion was hoped to facilitate the mobility of the community and contribute to the local economy's growth.
“This road serves as the main access route for residents to transport their harvested produce. Therefore, we hope that the bridge's construction can be completed as soon as possible so that the community's activities can resume smoothly and their economy can improve,” he said.
Aside from serving as a vital transportation link between districts, the construction of the bridge represented a tangible manifestation of TNI's concern for the local community's needs, particularly in addressing infrastructure limitations in remote areas.
Through their unwavering commitment and solidarity, TNI personnel and the local community continued to work tirelessly in expediting the construction of the bridge. The TNI's presence in the community went beyond ensuring the community's security, as it was also actively assisting in addressing the community's challenges through the development of infrastructural projects that directly benefited the local population.
“This endeavor represents the TNI's dedication to assisting the community. Despite the challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions, we remain committed to completing the bridge construction for the community's benefit and to revive their local economy,” exclaimed the Commander of Koramil 06/Bukit.
The residents of Desa Pilar Jaya expressed their appreciation and gratitude towards the relentless efforts of TNI personnel in constructing the bridge. They hoped that the bridge's completion could be expedited, thus restoring normal transportation access and making daily activities easier and smoother for the community.
