Benson Boone's Utah Concert Plans Take Shape with New Single Release

The wait is finally over for Benson Boone enthusiasts in Utah— the young singer will be performing in the Beehive State after all.

When Boone announced his “Wanted Man” tour a few months ago, a few fans were left stunned to see Salt Lake City, which had witnessed three sold-out concerts by Boone previously, excluded from the tour list.

Boone fans in Utah, however, don't have to travel far to catch their favorite artist in action, as he has now revealed plans to headline a new music festival at the Utah State Fairpark this fall.

The festival, titled the Yours Always Music Festival, will see Boone taking the stage on Friday, October 2, accompanied by notable performers such as Stephen Sanchez and Joshua Bassett, who rose to fame through the Disney+ series “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.” The festival will also feature an evening of performances by Sombr and Labrinth on Saturday.

Boone's appearance at the festival comes a year after he successfully wrapped up a series of sold-out performances at the Delta Center. In a moment of heartfelt appreciation during one of these performances, Boone expressed his awe and gratitude, mentioning that Salt Lake City was the only city on his tour schedule where he had to play multiple nights in a row.

Tickets for the Yours Always Music Festival will go on sale starting Friday at 10 a.m. MDT, offering fans an opportunity to watch Boone perform live.

The announcement of Boone's appearance at the Utah fair festival coincided with the release of his first new song since last year's “American Heart” album. The new single, “The Time of My Life,” is an emotional ballad that explores the longing and absence of a former lover in his life.
