Billboard World Albums Chart Takes Off with International Artists

Billboard has released its weekly World Albums chart for the week ending on June 20th. The chart features a mix of international artists, including BTS, Stray Kids, aespa, and LE SSERAFIM, who continue to top the charts with their latest releases. The week's top spot is taken by CORTIS's latest EP 'GREENGREEN,' which has now spent six weeks at the No. 1 position on the World Albums chart, and also managed to reach a fifth week in the top 50 of the Billboard 200. This achievement not only demonstrates the group's exceptional talent but also highlights their dedicated fan base.

CORTIS's latest EP is a testament to their consistent effort and hard work, as it continues to dominate the charts. The group's previous EP 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' also holds its ground at No. 4 on the World Albums chart, in its 40th week of being on the chart.

aespa, who had debuted at No. 1 last week, has seen its album 'LEMONADE' fall to No. 2 in its second week on the World Albums chart. Despite this, aespa's latest release continues to gain recognition, with a second week on the Billboard 200 at No. 139. This shows that despite slight setbacks, the group still maintains a strong presence on the charts.

Other notable artists on the World Albums chart, apart from aespa and BTS, include Stray Kids, who land three albums on the chart: 'KARMA', which climbs up to No. 5 in its 42nd week on the chart, 'DO IT', which rises to No. 6 in its 29th week, and 'ATE', which comes in at No. 24 in its 98th week.

BTS also takes the stage, with three albums appearing on this week's chart. Their album 'Proof' stays strong at No. 8 in its 209th week on the chart. While 'Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~' ranks No. 20 in its 32nd week, and 'Love Yourself: Tear' returns to the chart at No. 25 (in its 219th week).

Landing at No. 9 in its sixth week on the chart is ILLIT's latest mini album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI', while '7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns', by TXT, takes No. 11 in its ninth week. This highlights the diversity in talent and creativity that exists within the global music scene.

Meanwhile, the group ENHYPEN holds onto its spot at No. 13 in its 21st week on the chart, while NewJeans' album 'Get Up' comes in at No. 18 in its 144th week on the chart.

Congratulations are in order for all the artists whose music continues to push boundaries and gain recognition globally.
