Tereza Valentova Outlasts Elina Svitolina in an Uplifting Thriller at Cincinnati
Elina Svitolina vs Tereza Valentova · Round 2 · Cincinnati Tennis.com - A nail-biting encounter...

The Milwaukee Brewers concluded their series at American Family Field in Milwaukee with a 4-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies, securing their second shutout in three days.
Brewers left-hander Kyle Harrison pitched six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and striking out three batters. This was a bounce-back game for Harrison, who struggled against the Athletics in his previous outing.
Harrison credited regular elevation and the team's defense for his improved performance. He stated, "Regular elevation, happy to be back at sea level. I guess, whatever it is here. So yeah, nice to see the ball moving like it should. It’s kind of back, but yeah, feel good about it.""
The game's momentum shifted in the first inning when Jackson Chourio hit a lead-off solo home run against Cristopher Sanchez, giving Milwaukee the initial lead. Harrison felt that this home run gave him room to settle in and fill the zone.
Later in the game, Blake Perkins hit a two-out, three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning, increasing the team's lead and providing more room for Harrison and the defense to work.
Harrison credited catcher Gary Sanchez for helping him find his rhythm and timing. He stated, "100%, I think, in terms of my rhythm, timing, and everything, I think that really happened kind of third, fourth, past that third inning. So yeah, just needed to settle in and found my rhythm and timing was moving a little too slow earlier, I’d say."
