Day two of the men's tournament at Queen's got off to a thrilling start with a string of closely contested matches.
British number two Cameron Norrie suffered a disappointing loss to Spain's Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, with the Spaniard claiming a 7-6 (8-6) 6-2 victory in the first round.
Norrie, who was making his first singles appearance since retiring from the French Open first round due to a rib injury, struggled to find his rhythm against the aggressive Davidovich Fokina.
Top seed Alex de Minaur fared better, however, as he made a strong start to his campaign, defeating Canada's Gabriel Diallo 7-6, 6-3 in straight sets.
A very entertaining match at the Andy Murray Arena saw Adrian Mannarino come from behind to defeat French Open semi-finalist Jakub Mensik in a tie-break.
In another closely contested encounter, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Corentin Moutet battled for a place in the next round, with Moutet ultimately emerging victorious in a deciding set 7-6.
The Nottingham Open also got underway, with live coverage available on BBC.
