CBC Drops 'Hockey Night in Canada' After Longstanding Run

Public broadcaster CBC has made the decision to end its 'Hockey Night in Canada' run, marking a significant shift in Canadian sports broadcasting. The program, which has been a part of Canadian hockey tradition for decades, will no longer be a part of CBC's programming lineup.

The move comes as a surprise to many, given the program's rich history and dedicated fan base. However, with changing viewing habits and evolving sports broadcasting landscapes, CBC has decided to move in a different direction.
