Tereza Valentova Outlasts Elina Svitolina in an Uplifting Thriller at Cincinnati
Elina Svitolina vs Tereza Valentova · Round 2 · Cincinnati Tennis.com - A nail-biting encounter...

Lionel Messi has not given up on his quest for an international title with Argentina, and he believes he can make a crucial contribution before his playing career ends.
Unlike his success with Barcelona, where he won 34 titles, Messi's trophy cabinet with Argentina is limited to youth honors like the 2005 U-20 World Cup and 2008 Olympics. His senior career has been marked by three Copa America runner-up finishes (2007, 2015, and 2016) and a World Cup runner-up spot in 2014.
Now, the Copa America 2021 is on the horizon, and Argentina will face Chile in their first Group B match. However, Messi knows they need victories to progress seamlessly. Argentina's preparation has been shaky, having secured only two draws in the World Cup qualifiers, against Chile and Colombia, respectively.
To break this cycle, they need to perform at their best from the start. A win will set them on the right path.
"We've prepared well, but we need a win. Starting the tournament with three points will give us some peace of mind," Messi said, as quoted by Argentina's official website.
He also emphasized the team's clear strategy and the need to create an impact in Copa America. Messi, who has been with the Argentine national team for a while now, is eager to continue contributing as long as he's needed.
"I'm always available for the national team. My biggest dream is to win a title with Argentina. I almost achieved it multiple times, but it didn't happen. Nevertheless, I'll keep trying," Messi stated.
Argentina will face Chile on June 15 at 04.00 WIB. The match can be watched on Vidio.
