This maiden IPO is expected to fetch up to Rs 585 crores and will open for subscription on June 23, 2026, and close on June 25, 2026.
The IPO, which is a fresh issue of up to Rs 585 crores, marks a crucial step towards the company's goal of becoming a leading player in the global cruise industry. The funds raised through this IPO will be utilized for various purposes, including payment towards deposits/advances for lease rentals and monthly lease payments to its step-down subsidiary, Baycruise Shipping and Leasing Private Limited. The balance proceeds will be allotted for general corporate purposes.
Notably, Waterways Leisure Tourism has emerged as a market leader in the cruise industry, accounting for approximately 79 percent of the market share in value terms in Fiscal 2025, according to the CRISIL Report. This commanding position is a testament to the company's commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
The company's impressive financial performance is reflected in its revenue from operations, which rose to Rs. 580 crores during FY26, a significant increase from Rs. 444 crores during FY24. Moreover, the company witnessed a notable turnaround in its net profit, registering Rs. 52 crores during FY26, as against a loss of Rs. 123 crores during FY24.
The forthcoming vessels Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Sun are expected to further catapult the company's fleet capacity, adding 1,002 cabins and capacity for up to 2,004 guests, and 968 cabins and capacity for up to 1,936 guests, respectively. This expansion will enable the company to cater to an even broader market, thereby solidifying its position as a premier cruise operator.
The IPO's success will pave the way for Waterways Leisure Tourism to explore further growth opportunities, expand its presence in the global market, and enhance its customer experience. As the company embarks on this new journey, its commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction is expected to set a new benchmark for the cruise industry.
With its strong track record of performance and its ambitious expansion plans, Waterways Leisure Tourism is poised to become a dominant player in the cruise industry.
