Disturbing Incident Rocks Concert at Xfinity Center: A 27-Year-Old Man is Arrested for Secretly Recording a 13-Year-Old Girl

A 27-year-old Middleborough man was arrested Friday after allegedly using a cellphone to secretly record beneath a 13-year-old girl’s skirt during a concert at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield.

A witness alerted security personnel of the incident, who then notified Mansfield officers working the show shortly after 6 p.m., according to Mansfield police. The “Southern Hospitality Tour” featuring The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers took place at the venue that evening.

“The victim and her family met with Mansfield Police on the scene, and investigators went to work immediately,” police said.

Officers soon identified Brandon Cora as the suspect and took him into custody. He was facing a charge of photographing sexual or intimate parts of a child and was expected to be arraigned Monday in Attleboro District Court.

“This kind of invasive and disturbing behavior has no place in our society,” said Mansfield Police Chief Ronald Sellon in a statement, thanking the witness who came forward, the victim’s family, and venue security for their actions.
