F1 GP Miami 2026: Update on the Starting Grid After Hadjar's Penalty

Here's the updated starting grid for the F1 GP Miami 2026 after Isack Hadjar's penalty.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli will start the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix 2026 from the pole position on Sunday, after dominating the qualifying session on Saturday.

The fourth round of the F1 2026 season took place in the United States at the Miami circuit, marking the first Grand Prix in five weeks.

The current championship leader, Andrea Kimi Antonelli, was disappointing in the sprint race on Saturday but made amends by securing his third consecutive pole position this season.

He will be joined on the front row by four-time world champion Max Verstappen at Red Bull, while Charles Leclerc of Ferrari will start from the third position.

Winner of the sprint race Lando Norris is fourth for McLaren, with George Russell fifth in his Mercedes.

Lewis Hamilton is sixth, while Oscar Piastri struggled to finish seventh in the second McLaren. Franco Colapinto is eighth in his Alpine in his second Q3 appearance, with Isack Hadjar (Red Bull) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine) completing the top ten.

Hadjar was subsequently disqualified from the qualifying session due to a technical infraction.

The Grand Prix is scheduled to start on Monday at 3 AM WIB, but a severe thunderstorm warning may lead to a schedule change, with discussions taking place on Saturday evening.
