Father-son Duo Caught in Brutal Assault After NBA Championship Win

A chilling incident unfolded outside a San Antonio hotel on the night of the Knicks' historic championship win.

A 29-year-old man and his 62-year-old father, both avid fans of the Knicks, claimed they were brutally assaulted by a pair of Spurs fans.

The assault reportedly occurred near Hotel Valencia Riverwalk around 12:30 a.m. The victim and his father, both clad in Knicks jerseys, were targeted after they were spotted by the suspects.

The older man was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, although the extent of his injuries is still unclear. The victim, visibly shaken, recounted the harrowing experience.

An anonymous user shared a similar account of a near-identical assault on the Knicks subreddit.

The suspect are still at large. The San Antonio Police Department is investigating multiple incidents of assaults against New York Knicks fans in the city.
