FC Dallas has made history by having three active players represent not one, but three different countries in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This unprecedented achievement marks a first for the club.
One of these talented players is Petar Musa, who will be making his World Cup debut with Croatia against England at Dallas Stadium. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. England is undoubtedly one of the highest-ranked teams in the tournament.
Musa has already secured an impressive 12 goals this season for FC Dallas, solidifying his position as one of the top scorers in the MLS.
We spoke with Musa about preparing for the biggest soccer tournament in the world.
"The work I put in every day was my motivation to work even harder," Musa shared. "It was funny when I said, I wanted one of our games to be in Dallas, and now this has happened. We're playing against a big, big team, but we're not scared of anyone."
Croatia's team also boasts the legendary Luka Modric, who led them to back-to-back World Cup semifinals, including the 2018 match against England. The Croatian squad is based in Virginia for training and will face Panama on June 23 at 6 p.m. CT in Toronto, followed by a match against Ghana on June 27 at 4 p.m. CT in Philadelphia.
