Waco, Texas - Slow-moving thunderstorms in the area led to significant flash flooding on I-35, resulting in rainfall rates of 2 to 4 inches per hour.

Heavy downpours left numerous drivers stranded, prompted multiple water rescues, and triggered a high volume of flood-related emergency calls.

Emergency responders continued to address incidents throughout the night.
