G7 Summit Live Updates: Trump Downplays Ukraine Crisis and Hails New US-Iran Deal

President Trump addressed the G7 Summit on Friday, dismissing concerns over the ongoing Ukraine crisis and celebrating a new deal with Iran. The deal aims to ease tensions between the US and Iran, with Trump calling it a 'big victory' for both nations.

However, the move has been met with skepticism by other G7 leaders, with many expressing concerns over Iran's nuclear program. The European Union has also called for Iran to adhere to the terms of the deal and stop uranium enrichment.

The G7 Summit comes amidst a backdrop of heightened tensions between the US and Iran, with Trump previously announcing a troop withdrawal from Syria. The move has sparked concerns over the region's stability, with many fearing an escalation of violence.

In a separate development, Trump has announced plans to hold a second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The move has sparked a mix of reactions, with some hailing it as a positive step towards peace and others expressing concern over the lack of concrete progress.

The G7 Summit is an annual conference of the world's top industrialized nations, with the meeting taking place in Germany this year. The conference will focus on various issues, including climate change, trade, and security.
