Get Ready for CAST's Production of 'Sunset Boulevard'

The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST) is set to captivate audiences with their upcoming production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's acclaimed musical, 'Sunset Boulevard'. Directed by Brandi Billotte, with music direction by Evan Forcey, this iconic Broadway show tells the story of Joe Gillis, a struggling Hollywood screenwriter who becomes entangled in the life of Norma Desmond, a faded silent film star desperate for a return to fame.

As Joe navigates Norma's world, he must confront ambition, romance, and the consequences of living in the past. With a celebrated score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, 'Sunset Boulevard' explores themes of love, loss, aging, and the pursuit of dreams, blending humor, romance, and tragedy in a way that will leave audiences spellbound.

Performances will take place on June 19-20 and June 25-27 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee show on June 21 at 3 p.m. Tickets are priced at $17 and can be purchased online, at the CAST office, or at the box office before each show.

Audiences should note that the production contains flashing lights, brief violence, and mild language. During intermission, patrons can enjoy refreshments by donation to support the CAST Scholarship Fund, as well as participate in an art auction featuring local artists, with proceeds benefiting CAST's educational and artistic programs.
