Get Ready for the Ultimate Ride: Crazy Taxi World Tour Announced at Xbox Game Showcase June 2026

The Xbox Games Showcase has unveiled approximately 25 new games set to arrive within the next year, featuring titles from both Xbox's core studios and its partners.

Among the announced games is the legendary Crazy Taxi World Tour by Sega. But what can we expect from this reboot of the iconic taxi game?

Sega officially showcased a trailer for Crazy Taxi World Tour during the Xbox Game Showcase, kicking off with a cityscape reminiscent of San Francisco.

The trailer follows the protagonist, Axel, as he navigates the streets in his iconic taxi, completing missions such as transporting passengers, delivering pizzas, drifting, and even fishing.

Towards the end of the trailer, a woman pulls up in a car and assigns Axel a new mission, signaling his move to the next city. According to the game's description, Crazy Taxi World Tour will feature five distinct cities.

Rumors of the game's existence circulated prior to the announcement, fueled by a tweet from the official game account featuring a blinking taxi sign.

The game's soundtrack features Electric Callboy and The Offspring, with their latest single, Let The Good Times Roll, used in the trailer.

Crazy Taxi World Tour is slated for release in 2027, although a specific date has not been announced. The game will be available on Xbox Series, PC via Steam and Xbox PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
