GTA 5: Get the Enhanced Version for Free: A Rockstar Mag Exclusive

It has been four years since the release of GTA 5 and GTA Online, and Rockstar Games has finally announced a significant update for both platforms. Gamers, rejoice! From now on, you can upgrade to the enhanced version of GTA 5 for free, without spending a single penny. But there's a catch – you need to have the old-gen version of GTA 5.

In a breaking news update, Rockstar Games revealed that players with PS5 can now switch to the PS5 version, provided they own any PS4 version of the game. On Xbox Series S, only the digital versions of the Xbox One are compatible. The enhanced versions on both platforms boast improved visuals, resolution, and gameplay.

For those who are eager to know, progress transfer is still possible, meaning that your GTA Online and GTA 5 progress will not be lost. In other words, you can seamlessly transition from your old version to the new one, without any hiccups. As for PC players, nothing has changed – if you own the game, you can access the enhanced version at no extra cost. And for new buyers, you can purchase both versions together.

However, this benefit is not free – you need to be subscribed to GTA+ for $7.99 monthly to enjoy this exclusive content. The GTA+ program also offers other perks, including:
