GTA 6 Price Leaks: A Possible $100 Price Tag?

GTA 6 still has no official price, but leaks continue to fuel speculation. The latest leak suggests a standard edition around $100, higher than usual for PS5 and Xbox Series X games.

With GTA VI expected to launch on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Rockstar remains tight-lipped about pricing and pre-orders. This means every new listing from retailers sends shockwaves and raises the same question: should we be prepared to pay $100 for a GTA 6 in France?

According to Insider Gaming, site Loaded, formerly CDKeys, lists GTA 6 as a digital edition for Xbox Series X|S at 89.99 pounds sterling. Converting directly, we're looking at around $105 for a Standard Digital Edition.

The same page lists a PC version for the Rockstar Games Launcher at 60.99 pounds, or approximately $71. This creates an unconvincing gap between console and PC.

89.99 pounds, which translates to a $100-$105 entry fee, is a significant hike compared to big AAA games on PS5, usually priced at $79.99. Essentially, a $20-$25 premium for one game, amidst rising living costs.

Many players see this as a delirious price, even if a part of the community believes they'll pay for GTA 6 the day it launches.

No official word from Rockstar yet, the CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, recently reminded that premium games sell "at 70 or 80 dollars."

The gaming press sees this as an indicator that GTA 6 Standard should logically be priced around $70-$80, with Deluxe or Collector editions featuring physical goodies and bonuses likely above $100.

More credible projections suggest a console standard edition at $79.99, possibly $69.99 on PC, a digital Deluxe around $89.99-$99.99, and a physical Collector above $120.

Meanwhile, many blockbusters launched at $79.99 eventually drop to $69-$72 at French retailers.
