Hamilton Clashes with Colapinto in New Record

Lewis Hamilton made an unsavory gesture by showing his middle finger to Franco Colapinto as he overtook the Alpine driver on the final lap of the Miami Grand Prix.

The Ferrari driver was not pleased with the aggressive move, which caused his SF-25 car to suffer damage and lose 15-20 poin of downforce.

As Hamilton attempted to pass Colapinto from the outside at Turn 11, a key passing spot at the Miami International Autodrome, the two drivers made contact and significantly hindered Hamilton's performance throughout the 57-lap race.

Hamilton ultimately finished the race in seventh place but moved up to sixth after his teammate, Charles Leclerc, received a 20-second penalty, leaving Colapinto to take seventh place, which was his best finish in an F1 car.

Colapinto outscored Pierre Gasly for most of the race and earned six valuable points for the Alpine team, lifting them to fifth in the constructors' championship with 23 points.
