The Indonesian Army has finished building the Aramco bridge in Kukue Village, Peudada District, Bireuen Regency, to help the community and increase the local economy in the remote area.
According to Commander Luthfi Novriadi of Kodim 0111/Bireuen, the bridge is expected to greatly benefit the community in their daily activities and contribute to the economic growth of the region.
The construction of the Aramco bridge was done through a collaboration between the personnel of Kodim 0111/Bireuen and the local community, which enabled the completion of the project at a faster pace.
Luthfi stated that the infrastructure development is a tangible manifestation of the army's concern for the basic needs of the community, particularly in opening up transportation access in remote areas.
The existence of the bridge is crucial in overcoming geographical isolation and facilitating the distribution of logistics and community activities.
Prior to the construction of the Aramco bridge, the local community faced difficulties when crossing due to the reliance on fragile and risky bamboo structures.
Now, the Aramco bridge has become a symbol of accelerated infrastructure development and strengthened ties between the army and the people in the westernmost part of Indonesia.
The unity between the army and the people is the key to the successful completion of the project, according to Letkol Luthfi.
