iOS 26.5.2 Coming Soon Alongside the iOS 26.6 and iOS 27 Betas

Apple is internally testing iOS 26.5.2, according to visitor logs that have accurately confirmed many future iOS versions over the years.

This minor update is expected to fix software bugs and/or security vulnerabilities. While we don't know the exact release date, it's likely to arrive sometime this week or next.

iOS 26.5.1 was recently released to address a charging issue affecting some iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air units. Given that this update wasn't released for other iPhone models, a follow-up iOS 26.5.2 update supporting a broader range of compatible devices seems plausible.

Apple has multiple software updates in the works, with iOS 26.5.2 set to debut alongside the iOS 26.6 beta and iOS 27 beta. The initial iOS 26.6 beta didn't introduce any major new features, as Apple focuses on the more substantial iOS 27 update featuring intelligent and personal Siri, design tweaks, and performance enhancements.
