Two HYBE idols, Sunoo from ENHYPEN and Wonhee from ILLIT, have sparked a major online debate after appearing in a TikTok video that seemingly references NewJeans.

The dance video features the two idols taking turns dancing to the iconic song 'Tell Me' by Wonder Girls. However, many NewJeans fans noticed that the pair seemed to be dancing to the viral version of the song's intro from their 2022 SBS Gayo Daejeon performance.

When some fans pushed back, pointing out that the moves used in the TikTok were taken from the original 'Tell Me' choreography, NewJeans fans pointed out that those specific combinations of moves were used by NewJeans for their Gayo Daejeon performance and differed from the original intro.

As a result, the dance video has sparked a heated online debate, with some fans appreciating Wonhee for not fueling the supposed 'feud' between the two girl groups and others finding it inappropriate.

The debate has led to questions about the intentions behind the viral dance video, with some fans speculating that HYBE is trying to provoke a reaction from NewJeans fans.

Meanwhile, others have come to Wonhee's defense, pointing out that she did not mean to offend NewJeans fans and that the dance video was meant to be a fun and lighthearted moment.
