Isack Hadjar Ready to Shine with Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen

KabarOto.com - Isack Hadjar is getting ready for the next chapter as a Red Bull Racing driver, and is set to become the new teammate of Max Verstappen.

Isack Hadjar has shared insights about what gets him excited and what to expect in his new role as a Red Bull Racing driver, with the French driver mentioning racing alongside Max Verstappen as one of the highlights of his career.

The 21-year-old driver was confirmed beforehand about finalizing the season in Abu Dhabi, that he will promote to Red Bull Racing in 2026, after impressing in his maiden season with the Racing Bulls.

"Honestly, there are two things. First, being part of a world champion team. When I was growing up watching Formula 1, I saw Vettel winning all these races, as a child, with Red Bull. And second, being a teammate with Verstappen, to see how it feels to face the best level in the world. It's clearly very appealing," said Isack Hadjar.

And he's impressed by Verstappen, still very motivated after four times world champion, and very angry when the result is not what he wants, because he always wants to win.

"I think not every world champion can do that, after passing a certain level, maybe you can slow down a bit, but he seems to start like me, so it's very impressive," continued Hadjar.

And although the level increase gets him excited, this young driver doesn't have any special expectations for his second season, where a new wave of technical rules will be enforced.

"I have no expectations at all because everything starts from scratch. I'm just very looking forward to January, February, working with the team, getting to know everyone. It will be very important to try and be a little better," concluded Hadjar.
