Isack Hadjar is currently under investigation by the stewards at the Monaco Grand Prix due to a potential infraction related to the red flag. The Red Bull driver initially finished in fourth place at the Principality circuit but moved up to third place at the finish line after Pierre Gasly received a 10-second time penalty for exceeding the pit lane speed limit.
However, Hadjar must now anxiously wait to find out if he will retain the second podium of his F1 career and the first for his Milton Keynes-based team. According to the FIA F1 technical delegation, Red Bull Racing mechanics worked on car number 6 during the race suspension, performing an operation that is not permitted by Article B5.14.4.a at 16:55.
When questioned about their work, they stopped and restored the car to its original state without replacing any parts. The potential penalty for such an infraction is unclear, but it could result in significant sanctions. Hadjar has been called to the stewards at 18:30 local time, and if the French driver is penalized, Oscar Piastri will take over the final podium spot in Monte Carlo.
UPDATE: Hadjar has been cleared of any wrongdoing and will retain his third-place finish without any further action.
