IVE Wonyoung’s Attitude in a Viral Airport Video Sparks Controversy

IVE's Jang Wonyoung has been at the center of a controversy after a video of her going through an identity check at Gimpo Airport was shared online.

The video, which has gone viral, shows Wonyoung adjusting her mask and hat as instructed by staff to verify her passport photo.

Some netizens have criticized her for her expression and mannerisms during the process, sparking a heated debate about her attitude and behavior.

A complaint was submitted to the Korea Airports Corporation calling for clearer guidelines on identity checks at international departure gates.

The complaint argues that if procedures are mandatory, they should be clearly outlined and easily accessible to the public, rather than communicated only through on-site staff instructions.

This controversy is part of a larger discussion about the behavior of K-pop idols and the standards they should be held to.

The Korea Airports Corporation is expected to respond to the complaint by June 23.
