Jennie BLACKPINK Diadu oleh Kritikus: Latar Belakang, Analisis, dan Prediksi

BLACKPINK member Jennie has yet again found herself amid a heated social media discourse over her live vocals.

On August 24, KST, Jennie took the stage at the Summer Sonic Festival 2026 in Tokyo as the headliner, performing a hefty one-hour set.

This live performance included a live rendition of “One of the Girls,” an original soundtrack from her acting debut project, TheIdol.

As one of the more vocal-heavy songs, this live performance in particular, has drawn heavily divided response online. Fans were appreciative of the fact that Jennie’s live voice was distinguishably loud from the backtrack and praised her for her vocal skills.

Jennie's live vocals are always so good

Summer sonic technical and audio team deserves all the flowers for how great the audio was. You can clearly hear Jennie's live vocals seamlessly blend with the backtrack

However, the idol has also received brutal criticism from others, who pointed out the heavy use of Live Auto-tune in the performance and the lack of proper vocal techniques.

Usually singers go off-key for a second or two especially on high notes but sounding off-key from start to finish on such a low register? only Jennie can relate https://t.co/2YuY1P3e7w
