K-Pop Idol Jun Hyosung Sheds Light on Her Unexpected Hiatus and Future Ambitions

A K-Pop girl group member openly revealed the reason for her hiatus and shared her honest feelings.

On the 18th, the YouTube channel A-Class Rani released a video titled ‘SECRET’s Jun Hyosung, who swept first place on music shows, stopped activities and lives alone (3 years of unpaid activities, Jang Young Ran shocked)’.

Jun Hyosung's emotional confession came during her heart-to-heart conversation with Jang Young Ran at her residence. The singer candidly shared her experiences, revealing that she took a break from her entertainment activities due to company issues, which left her questioning her purpose and future.

“There were some company issues, so I was forced to take a break,” Jun Hyosung stated, adding, “During that time, I thought a lot about 'What would I do if I didn't become a celebrity?'”

Facing uncertainties about her future was a daunting experience; however, she used this period to introspect and pursue her passion for helping others. The talented artist obtained a pet caretaker certification, allowing her to explore her love for animals while caring for those in need.

In addition to deepening her connection with her family, Jun Hyosung revealed her strong desire to pursue her music career, which has driven her throughout her life. 'Since the year before last, I've really wanted to sing again,’ she mentioned, ‘I've started preparing to return to the stage.’

Jun Hyosung's remarkable determination has led her to achieve a major milestone in her illustrious career. Her return marked a triumphant comeback with the release of the special mini-album ‘Secret Flavor’ on the 18th, in collaboration with SECRET member Jung Hana and newcomer Yebin.
