Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris is set to headline the 2026 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, joining forces with MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi in a celebration that's not to be missed.
Norris will make a return to the Festival of Speed for the second time in three years, following Max Verstappen's high-profile attendance in 2024.
The reigning F1 Champion will be joined by Rossi, a nine-time Grand Prix motorcycle champion who's making a welcome return to Goodwood for the first time since 2015.
This promises to be one of the biggest sporting moments of the summer, with two of motorsport's biggest stars converging on West Sussex in July.
Norris clinched his first World Championship in a nail-biting finish last season, edging out Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen by just two points.
He currently sits sixth in the standings after a slow start to this year's campaign, with a second-place finish in Miami marking his best result so far. The McLaren ace will arrive at Goodwood fresh from the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, where he won last year in front of his home fans.
Rossi, meanwhile, has built a reputation on four wheels after retiring from motorcycle racing at the end of the 2021 MotoGP season. He's had a storied career, claiming the 125cc and 250cc Championships, as well as seven 500cc titles, including the last one with Yamaha in 2009.
After a two-year stint with Ducati, Rossi rejoined Yamaha and went on to finish as Championship runner-up on three consecutive occasions from 2014-2016.
Rossi's 89th and final premier class race win came at the 2017 Dutch TT, but an eighth title ultimately eluded him. Undeterred, he's since transitioned to GT racing, joining the GT World Challenge Europe with Team WRT in 2022 and more recently competing in the Intercontinental GT Challenge with the team.
The pairing of Lando Norris and Valentino Rossi is a world-class combination that's sure to electrify the crowds at the 2026 Festival of Speed.
With tickets still available, including special packages that include admission, a three-course lunch, and access to The Parc, this is an event not to be missed.
