Liverpool's Farewell to Salah at Risk as Slot Seeks to Secure Champions League Spot

Liverpool's Arne Slot is facing a huge dilemma as the Premier League enters its final week. A potential goodbye to Mohamed Salah, one of the club's all-time greats, could be put at risk in order to secure a Champions League spot.

Salah is set to leave Anfield at the end of the season, bringing an end to a nine-year stay with the Reds. He has been an integral part of Liverpool's success, helping the club win two Premier League titles, one Champions League, one FA Cup, and two Carabao Cups. He has featured in 441 games for Liverpool, scoring 257 goals.

The final game of the season is against Brentford, and while many would like to see Salah given the chance to make a big impact, it may not be the right approach for Slot. Salah is not fully fit after recovering from an injury and played only 16 minutes in Liverpool's last game.

Legende Liverpool, Jamie Carragher, believes that Slot should put the team first and go for a win, even if it means sacrificing Salah's farewell. He said: "A manager should not put his own interests ahead of the team's. He should do what gives the team the best chance to get a result - if he needs a result.">

"If he doesn't need a result and Liverpool are already qualified, then maybe it would be different, but in Arne Slot's position, it would be very hard not to give Mo Salah a farewell, the way he has performed over the years.
