Love Island USA's Sol Gets Attention from Michael B. Jordan on Instagram

Love Island USA season 8 has already had its fair share of drama, but it seems the contestants' lives are getting even more interesting outside the villa. Sol Dean, one of the contestants, has gained attention on Instagram, not just from viewers but also from some celebrity figures.

A screenshot from Instagram shared by a user on X showed Michael B. Jordan liking one of Sol's posts from 2025, when she celebrated her 24th birthday in November of that year.

According to comments on the post, Sol is friends with Michael B. Jordan, and he has been liking her posts even before she joined the show. However, one user pointed out that Michael B. Jordan's liking history shows he has been actively following Sol's online presence, even checking in on her friend Andreina's posts last year.

Meanwhile, Sol has been navigating her feelings for Gabriel Vasconcelos in the villa. She shared a kiss with him, but her reaction was quite telling. During a confessional, she revealed, “Gabe, he's obviously handsome. But I can taste people's pheromones when I’m kissing them,” explaining that this unique sensation has actually shifted her interest in him in the opposite direction. “Sometimes it just turns me off. My body's just like, ‘That was not it, girl.’”

The show has issued a statement reminding viewers to be respectful of the cast members. “The Villa runs on good vibes, and so does this community. We love seeing your reactions, opinions, and debates, but everyone deserves to feel safe and respected,” the show wrote.

As Sol's drama unfolds, her fans are left wondering what else is in store for this Love Island contestant. Will she find love, or will her experience in the villa teach her some valuable life lessons?
