Mikel Arteta Could Unleash Arsenal's Own Kylian Mbappe Next Season

Kai Havertz has been backed to win the Golden Boot at the World Cup, and his form could be a huge boost for Arsenal next season.

Havertz scored a brace for Germany in their World Cup opener against Curacao, and his performance has led to predictions that he could be a key player for Arsenal next season.

The 27-year-old scored seven goals in 24 appearances for Arsenal in the 2025-26 season, despite being disrupted by injury. Now that he's back to full fitness, he looks to be returning to his best form.

Havertz has been tipped to be in the running for the top goalscorer at the World Cup, alongside players like Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, and Thomas Muller.

Mikel Arteta will likely be keeping a close eye on the World Cup, as he assesses the form of his Arsenal players who are competing in the tournament.
