Mohamed Salah is leaving Liverpool at the end of this season. He's confessed that his love for the club has run dry. He's been a part of Liverpool since 2017.
In 9 years, Salah has scored 257 goals and made 122 appearances out of 441, making him one of Liverpool's top scorers, and the 4th in Premier League history.
He's a crucial part of the team that brought home 10 prestigious trophies. It's no wonder Salah is often compared to the likes of Sir Kenny Dalglish or Steven Gerrard.
However, all good things must come to an end, and for Salah, it's the impending match against Brentford at Anfield on Sunday, May 24, 2026, which will be his final match for the club.
Salah is grateful for the support he's received from the club and its fans. He'll never forget Liverpool, for the club has a special place in his heart.
"This club means everything to me. The people, the city - it all means so much to me. I love this club with all my heart. I'll always be supporting them," says Salah in the farewell film, Salah: Farewell to the King.
"This means a lot to me. Being part of the club, feeling the love and appreciation from the fans," adds Salah.
"It's a blessing, and I'm grateful," says Salah.
