Mohamed Salah's Potential Departure from Liverpool: A Multimillion-Dollar Move to Fenerbahce

In what appears to be a surprise move, Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Salah is reportedly set to leave the Reds at the end of the season. The Egyptian sensation has been in discussions with Fenerbahce about a lucrative move, with the Turkish club willing to offer him a staggering €20 million per season, equivalent to approximately IDR 397.4 billion.

The news comes after Salah had reportedly agreed to a two-year contract extension with Liverpool in 2025. However, it seems that the 33-year-old has decided to cut his contract short by one season, reportedly due to a disagreement with manager Arne Slot over his position in the team.

Salah is set to hold talks with Liverpool's director of football, Richard Hughes, to discuss the terms of his departure. The Egyptian international's last game for Liverpool is reportedly set to be against Brentford in the upcoming weekend.

With his departure from Liverpool seemingly imminent, Salah is set to be courted by several clubs. In addition to Fenerbahce, he has been linked with clubs in Saudi Arabia, including Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadsiah. However, it is reported that Salah has expressed a desire to continue his European career.

If the Turkish move does not materialize, Salah may also consider joining a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. San Diego FC and Inter Miami have been linked with the Egyptian star, with both clubs willing to make significant offers to secure his signature.

Salah has had an illustrious career at Liverpool, winning two Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy since his arrival in 2017. He has also won two African Player of the Year awards.
