Oscar Piastri on the Verge of Tying F1 Legend Ayrton Senna's Record

With four consecutive Grand Prix wins, Oscar Piastri is closing in on the record of the legendary F1 driver Ayrton Senna.

Should Piastri take the win at this weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, he would match Senna's record of four consecutive wins.

"Oscar has been consistently faster throughout the season," said McLaren team principal Andrea Stella. "He's on track to break this record."

Piastri has been a dark horse this season, taking four wins and claiming pole position. He currently sits at the top of the drivers' championship with 131 points.

Piastri's chances of winning the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix are high, given his pace in practice on Friday.

According to Stella, Piastri still has a long way to go to secure the championship. "This is a long season, and we need to stay focused as a team," said Stella. "We've only completed a quarter of the season so far, and there are plenty of opportunities left."
