Paramount Scores Big with Duffer Brothers' Upcoming Event Film

Paramount Pictures has announced the release date for its first theatrical feature from Matt and Ross Duffer, the brilliant duo behind Netflix's phenomenon Stranger Things.

Set to hit theaters on November 3, 2028, the untitled film will be directed by the Duffer Brothers from their own script, and promises to be an event film to remember.

The Duffer Brothers made waves in August 2025 when they left Netflix for Paramount Pictures with a four-year exclusive deal, and this new film is just the beginning of their exciting collaboration.

On the streaming front at Paramount, the Duffers reunite with Cindy Holland and Matt Thunell, executives who championed Stranger Things during their time at Netflix.

The Duffer Brothers wrapped up the fifth and final season of Stranger Things on New Year's Eve 2025, and since then, they've been busy with other projects, including an animated series and two other series that they exec produced for Netflix.
