In a recent Instagram post, Jimmy Nicks praised his Hyrox doubles partner, actor Patrick Wilson, for crushing the race despite what he described as hot as hell conditions. The pair made a second-place podium finish in a grueling functional fitness race.

In a departure from his Hollywood demon-hunting persona, Patrick Wilson took centre stage in Jimmy Nick's Instagram post, showing off his impressive physique and six-pack abs. He was seen as a successful race contender along with his doubles partner.

The online community got buzzing as appreciative posts poured in for the duo. One user commented, 'This blessed my eyes. Absolutely daddy!!' while another quipped, 'ummm ok that's fantastic.'

The men competed in a standard Hyrox doubles setup, where both athletes ran the full 8 kilometers together, but they got to split the brutal workload of the 8 functional fitness stations. Jimmy admitted to making 'five different dumb mistakes,' and praised Wilson for his efforts in beating the intensely hot weather to achieve a strong second place.

The real-world display of fitness closely reflected Wilson's upcoming project - AppleTV+'s highly anticipated 'Cape Fear' series. Fans noted similarities between Wilson's fitness training and the physical demands seen in promotional footage for the upcoming series.

The photos highlighted Wilson's impressive fitness level and showcased the dedication that helped him achieve a strong result in the competition.

However, the athletes are not done yet, as Nicks ended on a winning note, saying, 'We WILL break an hour together to get Patrick in the sub-60min club!' With a second-place finish already under their belts, the duo appears determined to keep pushing their limits and achieve an even stronger result in future competitions.
