Presidentiable 2027: Kylian Mbappé Excludes Future in Politics

At a few days before the France entry in the 2026 World Cup, Kylian Mbappé spoke with Parisien newspaper. He was questioned about his post-football life, excluding any future in politics, preferring projects related to coaching or business.

The best French football player of the world, president of the Republic? The idea made his main interest smile. In a long interview published on Sunday, June 14th, by Le Parisien, a few days before the entry in the 2026 World Cup, Kylian Mbappé, the attacker of 27 years old, spoke about his future post-football life, not excluding projects of coaching or business.

He excluded any possible future in politics, with his famous sentence: "No, don't worry, I'm not talking about being the President of France. Not much of people are saying this, but this is not in my projects, I would rather be more incognito." A pirouette that illustrates the consciousness that the 27 years old attacker has about his position in the French public debate.

If the politics are out of scope, Kylian Mbappé hasn't closed the door on his possible future in football coaching. Asked by Didier Deschamps, who will pursue his life after the football, he hasn't ruled out this possibility. He also spoke about his business projects, saying that he would have enough options after his football life. He also mentioned that he would take his diplomas, not being a costly option, adding a new layer to his knowledge.

For Kylian Mbappé, a page is turning in both his personal and professional life, the French football team aiming to win the third star, and the presidential election 2027 is out of the picture.
