Private Jet Crash on Texas Highway: Bystanders Rush to Rescue Passengers

A private jet crashed on a highway in Laredo, Texas, sparking a massive fire and prompting bystanders to rush to the scene to rescue passengers.

Despite the intense flames, people rushed towards the aircraft, using tools to break open the cockpit and free those on board.

Several passengers were seen escaping through the door, while firefighters worked to douse the flames and police officers helped to prop open the door.

Tragically, one of the six people aboard the plane died, and five first responders were treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation is on site to investigate.

This incident is the third significant aviation accident in as many days, following a B-52 crash in California and a plane crash in Missouri.
