PSG's Big Returns: A Boost for Manchester United Showdown

The Paris Saint-Germain, gearing up for an expedited pre-season before the restart of Ligue 1, is welcoming back several key players from their squad ahead of their second friendly match scheduled for this Saturday against Manchester United.

Only three days after suffering a heavy defeat in Majorca for their first pre-season match, the Parisian team will resume training this Saturday. They will face Manchester United, who they will be visiting in Sweden for the match, and will have the luxury of counting on the return of some international stars who had returned to the team in the final days after the World Cup. Thus, Vitinha, João Neves, Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos, and Ibrahim Mbaye are all part of the Parisian group (comprising 24 players) retained by Luis Enrique for this encounter.

While Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, Achraf Hakimi, and Warren Zaïre-Emery are still missing from the call-up, the Spanish coach is gradually recovering his entire squad ahead of the two major opening matches of the season next week against Aston Villa (Super Cup of Europe) and RC Lens (Trophy of Champions). These two matches will precede the resumption of Ligue 1, with PSG hosting Rennes and traveling to Lille for the first two matchdays.
