The Texas Rangers secured a 6-4 victory over the Boston Red Sox, collecting 13 hits in the process. Nathan Eovaldi delivered a standout performance, pitching seven innings to secure the win.

The Rangers scored six runs, while the Red Sox scored four. The Red Sox were denied a sweep as the Rangers came out strong in the finale.

Wyatt Langford set the tone with a 418-foot home run on the game's first pitch, giving the Rangers an early 1-0 lead. By the end of the second inning, the Rangers had extended their lead to 4-0, courtesy of Kyle Higashioka's three-run home run.

The Red Sox fought back, scoring two runs in the bottom of the second to halve the Rangers' lead. However, the Rangers continued to score, with Brandon Nimmo doubling in two runs in the fourth inning to make it 6-2.

Nathan Eovaldi allowed three runs on six hits and a walk, striking out six over seven innings of work. The Red Sox scored their third run in the sixth, courtesy of Willson Contreras' solo home run.

Jacob Latz came in to pitch a clean ninth, allowing the Rangers to claim the finale and finish with an even road trip.

Key performers included Eovaldi, Nimmo, Higashioka, Langford, and Latz, who all made significant contributions to the Rangers' victory.

The Rangers will now face the Minnesota Twins, with LHP MacKenzie Gore taking the mound for the series opener.
